This wreck is the remains of an unidentified wood hulled vessel.
Captain Eric Takakjian reports that the wreck sits upright and
intact in 190 feet of water off Boston. She lists a little to port.
The wreck still contains its cargo of coal and is draped in fishing
nets. Most interesting on the site is the complete skeletal remains
of a whale on the wrecks deck. Eric speculates that the wreck is a
sunken barge and the whale could have been caught in the snagged
fish nets. When the whale died its remains drifted to it present
resting place on the wrecks deck. Capt Eric also reports excellent
visibility on the site. This wreck which is known as the Bone Wreck
sits nose to nose with another wood hulled wreck.
