The steel hulled steam powered tugboat Nina was built in 1865. She
was 137 feet long had a 26foot beam and displaced 420 gross tons. On
February 6, 1910the Nina was en-route from Norfolk to Boston. She
was navigating in gale force winds with monstrous seas. The Nina
apparently foundered and took all 32 crewmembers to a watery grave.
The wreck of the Nina now sits in 80 feet of water.
