STAR TREK Dade County

The Star Trek was a 200 foot long LSM built in 1944 at Brown Shipbuilding Yard in Houston, Texas. She was sunk on July 27, 1982, and according to Don Scholen, now sits on her port side in 210 to 224 feet of water just east of the Lakeland wreck. Her superstructure faces shore and her wreckage is home to some huge grouper and lobster.
