A
Habsburg King's Messenger Ship, laden with Spanish colonial
treasures from the new world was "Lost in Time", upon Florida's
shore, at a place, now called, "Jupiter by the Sea". Captain
Dominic A. Addario and the intrepid undersea
explorers of Jupiter Coins (www.jupitercoins.com) and
Jupiter Wreck Inc. are searching for the "mother lode" of this,
"hither to", vessel, having met with its end upon the shores of
Jupiter Florida.
In
1987, two surfers fell off their surfboards one day and saw what
they thought was a canon and reported it to a lifeguard, who told
his good friend at the time, master mariner and marina owner,
Captain Dominic Addario, who had equipment capable of recovering
the find. Together, they began to uncovered a 1660 shipwreck. To
date, the shipwreck has yet to be fully recovered due to the
logistics of the site and the equipment needed to uncover 30 to 40
feet of sand underwater. Principle director, Captain Dom and 2
others, hold the rights to the wreck site and invite technological
and financial help in their efforts to salvage the remains of this
ship that has given up 15,000 pieces of artifacts, mostly coins.
With only one silver ingot recovered, dated 820, there really
could be 819 waiting to be found !
