FREIGHTER WRECK
Daytona Beach
This unidentified freighter was transporting war supplies during
World War II when she was torpedoed and sunk off Daytona Beach.
Today she is scattered over a large area, 50 miles offshore. Divers
will still find the remains of some of her cargo. This is a good
wreck for artifact hunting and spear fishing. The current can be
strong in this area.
