COREY N CHRIS Broward County

The 130 foot long ex-US Army dredge was built in 1942 as the Trident. She was sunk on May 18, 1986, in conjunction with the Pompano Beach Rodeo and now sits in 244 feet of water. Due to her depth, she is off limits to most divers but is enjoyed by fishermen. Although not confirmed, it has been reported that the Ronald B. Johnson, which was sunk in 1988, landed at a right angle and on top of the Corey N Chris wreck.
