This huge old dry dock was deliberately sunk in an area Teddy Tucker refers to as the junk yard. After she was of no more use because of her age, she was towed about 300 yards offshore and sunk in 60 feet of water. Teddy goes on to say that this area has been used as a dump site since the mid 19th century. Mike Burke told us that this wreck sits upright and that the bow of the Ramona, a Canadian yacht dumped here in 1968, actually sits inside this old dry dock
